This standard formulates requirements for Competent Persons and for training programmes for Competent Persons who are to be commissioned to test safety cabinets, gas cylinder cabinets, and technical ventilation. The standard specifies the general statements on the requirements of the competent persons for the inspection as per the standards VDI 4068 Part 1 and TRBS 1203 for the mentioned work equipment.
