The standard describes procedures for the monitoring and calibration of test equipment for determining the electrical safety. It applies to electrical equipment according to DIN VDE 0100 and DIN VDE 0105. To monitor necessary measurement setups and methods to the individual measuring ranges of test equipment and calibration are described. To the critically decision support to the declaration of conformity and the documentation of the results are given. The standard is aimed at users and manufacturers of test equipment for electrical safety.
