To review the maturity and usability of the SAIL model, the concepts will be verified by using examples. The benefit of SAIL results from the consequent application of the two concepts Segmentation according to operations and Encapsulation in components. The first example will show modelling by elemental objects. The second example will show a plant in its entirety.
