This guideline applies in the field of metrology, for providing guidance for the calibration and adjustment of radiation thermometers. Radiation thermometery is a measuring method that finds applications in many industrial fields. Most instruments show a high repeatability, bat especially in the lower temperature range (- 50 °C bis 300 °C), a traceable measuring accuracy for industrial instruments is difficult to achieve.
