Abstract
The standard describes a method for controlling the European limit value of 5 µg/m<(hoch)3> for benzene by diffusive sampling. The method uses enrichment of benzene on polymerous sorbents, from which it is extracted by rapid heating. After gas chromatographic separation from other compounds benzene ise detected by a suitable detector.
