Abstract
The purpose of that document is to provide guidance for the assessment of noise at work places in order to prevent hearing damages. That document applies to all work places where the danger of hearing damage exsists. It is addressed to all who deal with questions of hearing impairment and hearing damage due to noise. The guidance outlined apply analogously to noise outside the working area, too.
