Abstract
The standard describes the fundamentals of the gas chromatographic determination of gaseous organic compounds in ambient air. The standard describes sampling and sample preparation methods, sample injection into the gas chromatograph and separation and detection methods. Furthermore it addresses quality assurance and test gas requirements. The series of standards is also applicable for indoor air measurements.
