Abstract
This standard adapts the general model of product design to a company-specific context. As the configuration of company-specific product design processes is a complex task, the standard provides not only systematic instructions for action, but also an orientation aid in the form of five representative case examples.The target groups of this standard are those responsible for processes as well as leaders of design projects, product designers, product managers and those involved in processes, and university teachers and students.
