Abstract
The standard defines procedures for organising, structuring, aggregation, distribution, administration and archiving of digital data within building information modeling (BIM). BIM is also seen as a management approach for integral model-based project management. To this end, the technical and organisational requirements for implementing a common data environment are presented.
