This stadnard applies to all vehicle transporters which are suitable for the transport of passenger cars, minibuses, and light commercial vehicles with an actual mass up to and including 4.5 t, and which are equipped as specified in this standard. This standard is intended for shippers, carriers, loaders, vehicle owners, vehicle drivers and those who are responsible by law, ordinance, contract or other regulations for load securing and safe transport. The areas of responsibility are derived from the national regulations of other countries in crossborder road freight transport and comply with the respective applicable rules of technology. The application requires a sufficient qualification corresponding to the task.
