Abstract
The standard describes the alignment of gear installations and defines essential uniform concepts, and names influences which are to be taken into consideration and to be documented to achieve a uniform instruction for the alignment, including an example. The standard allows for a uniform representation of the state of the adjustment in a protocol and contains easy-to-understand advice for the assembly staff.
