Abstract
The standard describes the calculation of the load-carrying capacity for crossed helical gears or snail gears with the materials pairing metal/plastic and a shaft angle of 90°. For the calculation of the load-carrying capacity the standard covers for the special properties of plastics. The calculation of the tooth root and tooth flank is based on the design calculation. Since in some cases only a few or even no characteristic values at all are as yet available, this standard will form the basis for determining permissible values.
