This standard is aimed at toolmakers and press shops, as well as their suppliers in the large tools section. The foundations for the correct design, dimensioning and application of cam units are described. The standard is addressed to students, graduates and beginners in the section of construction of large dies, but it also provides a good foundation for the training and further education of employees in the areas of large tool construction and press shop as well as of suppliers of standard parts.
