Abstract
The standard summarises key aspects which may be relevant to the component quality built by additive manufacturing with laser sintering and should be monitored. The standard gives an overview of the testing of the source material, in-line process control and testing of part properties on the basis of test specimens. This standard also contains information about quality standards and downstream processes. This standard is directed towards material manufacturers, material suppliers, users and producers of powder-bed additive production equipment using laser sintering (LS), as well as designers, users and producers of polymer products manufactured with such machines.
