Abstract
The process of rotational draw bending is descibed in detail. Following a description of the transfer of the bending geometry into machine parameters an estimate of material strains is given. A summary of bending tools is presented. Deformations and deviations of the bending result from the ideal form as well as methods for measurement are explained. Recommendations for construction adapted to bending are given.
