The mapping of personnel in the process simulation in the planning, implementation and operating phases is becoming increasingly important. A major reason for this is the realisation that even in automated systems, the influence of humans on productivity is not negligible. This standard aims to provide an introduction to the simulation of complex personnel-related questions and can be used as a decision-making aid for the use of personnel deployment simulation by presenting typical questions and solution approaches.The standard is aimed equally at decision-makers on the use of simulation, at users and developers of such methods as well as at scientists working in method development.
