Abstract
Electrostatic precipitators are in use as reliable separators of dust and aerosols from gases, because this type of separator has certain advantages over the other particle separators, e. g. use at very high temperatures, extremely high dust contents and sticky dusts. This standard deals with the separation of solid and/or liquid particles from industrial process or waste gases using electrostatic precipitators.
