Abstract
This guideline applies to centrifugal pumps such as radial pumps, semiaxial pumps (with spiral or annular casing, peeler with recirculation), axial pumps, centrifugal pumps with magnetic coupling, and canned motor pumps. For the purposes of this guideline, centrifugal pumps are pumps where the energy of the fluid to be displaced is increased by a rotating impeller around which the fluid flows.
