Abstract
This standard presents an overview of the different methods for energy performance assessment of buildings and building services installations. It aims to provide the user of such methods with helpful information about which method is particularly suitable for which purposes or which method is mandatory. A distinction is made between procedures for energy assessment based on energy demand and those based on energy consumption. The target audience of this standard includes architects, building owners, operators, energy consultants, facility managers, manufacturers, users, planners, and software providers.
