Abstract
This standard deals with the operation and maintenance of hydraulically operated heating installations (hot-water heating systems) and appliances (either centralised or local) in rooms with commercial and non-commercial use. The standard describes the specified intended use and maintenance of heating installations. This use must be taken into consideration in the planning. The standard specifies the bases of maintenance as part of operation. It defines terms which, together with the terms defined in DIN EN 13306, are required for an understanding of the background.
