Abstract
This standard applies to the operation and included therein, the maintenance of property drainage systems up to the property boundary in accordance with DIN 1986-100, and for underground pipes and connecting sewers for property drainage that are located in the public ground but are not part of the public wastewater system, in accordance with DIN 1986-30. In addition to proper operation, it also describes the planning and technical requirements that must be met in order for proper operation to be possible. In this sense, the standard is not only aimed at operators, but also at system installers (e. g. specialised installation companies) and users (e. g. tenants, leaseholders).
