Abstract
This standard provides a guideline in order to evaluate systematically and make experience from damage analyses available. It standardises terms an definitions so that types of damage can be uniformly named and described. In addition, it provides guidance on the systematic approach to damage analysis in order to ensure the comparability of the results of different analytical laboratories. It also points out the need for comprehensible documentation.
