Abstract
In the standard, the terms of capacity utilisation according to VDI 3423 are defined with the special meanings for material handling equipment and the exact determination of the time of use is explained. Furthermore, for a retrofit requirements for the structural and functional design of the hour meter are described. The standard is aimed at operators, renters and service companies for industrial trucks.
