This standard serves as a manual for design, construction and acceptance of combined heat and power plants with combustion engines or gas turbines. The standard is aimed to develop an optimal plant concept, so that plants achieve a maximum availability and, above all, work economically. These are matters of interest for users, planners and manufacturers. The standard has been designed in such a way that it follows the course of the project from the beginning step by step. Design, construction, and acceptance have been described in detail with instructions for the construction and the procedures. The defined principles help to avoid errors in plant concept, project organisation, design and installation of plants.
