Abstract
The standard describes requirements for mobile air purifiers with which an effective reduction of the virus load in indoor areas is to be achieved. The focus is on the efficiency against SARS-CoV2 and similar viruses. Only devices in which the purification within the device is carried out by filtration, UV-C radiation, ionisation or plasma are considered. However, processes in which substances such as ozone or ions are released into the room air are not covered.
