Abstract
The standard presents an overview on horizontal curves belt conveyors for bulk material and describes their properties and suitability in order to provide information for an appropriate selection for the respective application. The assessment of these belt conveyors and their calculation is not covered by this standard. The standard is addressed to manufacturers and operators of belt conveyor systems, planners, as well as the sectors of the food industry, waste disposal, recycling, conveyor technology.
