Abstract
This guideline applies to those rail-mounted and stationary cranes, including their supporting structures and equipment, which are subject to accident prevention regulations BGV D 6 and BGV D 8. In line with DIN 15001-1 the present guideline relates to travelling hoists, cantilever and slewing cranes, overhead (bridge) cranes, gantry cranes, wall-mounted cranes and rotating tower cranes.
