Abstract
The standard describes a systematic approach to an event-discrete modeling of logistics systems with the associated processes and information flows. The methods described are oriented primarily to simulation-based and analytical investigations. The standard is addressed to simulation experts as well as professionals who plan or operate logistics, material flow and production systems and want to depict the planned or actual system and its processes with a model.
