The cumulative energy demand is an important characteristic for the ecological evaluation of products and services. The examples assembled in this standard indicate the variety of possibilities for the determination of this characteristic. The user gets an assistance to perform a calculation of the cumulative energy demand according to the standard VDI 4600.
