Abstract
The standard is aimed at planners, plant engineers, operators, responsible authorities and third parties in areas effected by hydroelectric installations, based on the term defined in § 3 (5) BImSchG. In planning, approval, construction, operation and reconstruction of hydroelectric installations interdisciplinary, balanced approaches are advisable. A one-sided focus does not do justice to the complexity of the matter. Therefore, this standard for the first time summarises all aspects of planning, construction, operation and monitoring of hydroelectric installations. It describes the state of the art for approval and implementation.
