This standard presents various proven, simple to elaborate methods for determining the status and improving resource efficiency and resource conservation, and gives advice on how to apply them successfully. The use of natural resources can thus be recorded, evaluated, and optimised in the production and ancillary processes of a company, over the life cycle of the products produced and the services offered.The standard serves as a guideline for management, those responsible for construction, production, purchasing, sales and service, for team leaders and members of quality, energy and environmental management as well as for CIP teams, consultants, and multipliers.
