Abstract
This standard deals with systematic solutions serving to reduce the water consumption of residential and non-residential buildings without compromising hygiene requirements as laid out in VDI/DVGW 6023. The standard does not deal with the substitution of drinking-water by other waters such as rainwater; this topic is addressed in VDI 2070. The standard addresses planners, executing parties and owners of buildings and describes the options for reducing water consumption.
