Abstract

This standard sets out the requirements for the scope of the documents to be drawn up in the context of the planning, execution or operation of a technical building services (TBE) project. It is clarified how the documents to be prepared within the scope of project implementation must be provided for the parties involved (e. g. owner/client, architects, specialist planners, implementing companies, operators) in terms of content. The content of the documents to be prepared is summarised and specified in trade-related documentation tables. The information content of the documents is described in the respective planning or creation phase. In principle, the respective planning phases are subject to a successive sequence, i.e. the beginning of an individual phase requires the completion of the preceding phase. This ensures an efficient implementation, as the author of the respective planning phase can rely on the fact that a complete and completed documentation from the preceding phases is available to him. Furthermore, the interfaces between the respective trades of the TGA are also shown and the prerequisites for each documentation phase are presented. Basic services of the HOAI and the documents to be prepared according to VOB/C are presented, as well as special services in order to fulfill the above mentioned requirements. The remuneration for the preparation of the documentation documents requires a contractual arrangement.
