Abstract
In practice, the exchange of information with BIM data has shown that difficulties often occur when the information demand (so-called exchange requirements) is not sufficiently described. Today's specifications are too general and not focused enough on the specific purpose of the exchange. Examples are: specific requirements for subsequent evaluations, specific input for subsequent trades, specific input for simulations, etc. Based on VDI 2552 Part 11.1, this standard describes the information exchange requirements for slots and openings.
