Abstract
Deformation bearings made of elastomers are frequently used in building constructions. The geometry and material properties of deformation bearings are determined according to the respective requirements and are not restricted in their variety. Within the standard, the principles and general conditions for the use of deformation bearings in bearing arrangements are specified. The existing regulations do not take sufficient account of the special features of the various bearing types.
