Abstract
The correct use of control valves is facilitated when their fluidic characteristics are determined by measurements. Suitable characteristic values can be derived from these measurements to describe the flow performance of the control valve as a function of the travel. This standard summarizes the essential requirements of the existing standards and makes them available for practical application. It applies to all types of industrial process control valves.
