This standard applies to all tasks in the development of cyber-physical mechatronic systems (CPMS). It comprises the presentation of the factual logical relationships with the aim of enabling users to successfully develop a complex technical system. The standard serves the user as a logical framework and orientation for the interdisciplinary development of CPMS. The user should be able to derive individual approaches for his practical application from this framework.
