Abstract
The guideline gives information on the assessment of possible measuring procedures for liquid, lumpy, flowable, thixotropic, gelatinous and pasty media including mixtures of such media and provides instructions on the appropriate performance of these measurements. Level measurement includes both procedures for continuous and discontinuous measurement of levels and also for limit level detection, e.g. overfill safety devices, run dry protection and similar. Interface measurement is dealt with under the particular measuring method described.
