Abstract
The guideline defines an interface between lifting actuator and positioner that allows the interchangeability of attachments (positioners, pilot valves) to control valves. It is a concept which is open to all manufacturers of lifting actuators and positioners and which allows interchangeability in the same drive of positioners from different manufacturers. The guidelines is an aid to a demand for control precision and plant safety, to improve accident prevention and to reduce service and product costs.
