This part of the guideline applies to the calibration of height gauges featuring digital recording of the measurand at a numerical interval of <kleiner => 5 µm. It applies to designs suitable for length measurements only as well as those with additional means for straightness and perpendicularity measurements. The necessary working sequences are described.
