This standard describes the state of the art in process and emissions control technology for web offset printing systems with hot air drying that print web-shaped paper substrates. The process stages, the associated parts of the overall plant and the materials used are described, whereby their interaction and their influences on the conditions and results of the work sequence and the formation and reduction of emissions are presented. The main focus is on air pollutants and energy efficiency.
