This document deals with the manufacture of ceramic fibres and the manufacture and processing of ceramic fibre products. Insulation materials of man-made mineral fibres are covered by VDI 3469 part 10. Measures necessary for health and safety are regulated by health and safety legislation and directives and are not described in this document.
