Abstract
The measurement method standardized in this guideline serves for determining PCDDs/PCDFs in ambient air and indoor air. Under the climatic conditions prevailing in central Europe, it is possible to sample air volumes up to 1500 m<(hoch)3>. For indoor air measurements, the air flow rate of the sampling apparatus should not exceed 10 % of the volume of the room. The method can also be used for small rooms, for example children's rooms.
