Kurzreferat
The standard extends the specifications given in DIN EN ISO/ASTM 52903-1. It enables the specification of concrete characteristic values for feedstock with round cross section to be used in the additive manufacturing prosess "material extrusion" (MEX). Corresponding test procedures for material qualification and monitoring are described. The packaging and storage, the details of the test report and the parameters influencing the material are discussed. The test methods and material specifications recommended in this standard are directed at material manufacturers for use in test reports and at AM-machine operating companies in the context of incoming goods inspection and process control.
