Kurzreferat
The method described is suitable for the determination of lower aldehydes, in particular 2-propenal (acrolein), but also formaldehyde and acetaldehyde, in exhaust gases of e. g. firing installations (in particular wood firing), combustion engines or fumigation plants and in exhaust gases from e. g. foundries or chemical production processes. This guideline describes the method for acrolein by way of example. In principle, the method can also be used for the determination of other aldehydes.
