Kurzreferat
The standard demonstrates the application of the different evaluation methods of waste treatment processes as per VDI 3925 Part 1 using an actual real-life example. In this example two thermal waste treatment plants with grate firing are compared to each other. The two systems differ mainly in the target energy (electricity and/or heat) as well as in the flue gas treatment. By the way of the generated calculation results using different methods the standard additionally illustrates which statements are to be expected from the respective evaluation method.
