The technical qualification of Competent Persons refers to the work equipment and plants that require monitoring. In actual operational practice, the selection of the Competent Person according to § 3(3) of the BetrSichV is oriented to the work equipment used or the type of plant that requires monitoring. This standard describes the qualification characteristics of Competent Persons in accordance with § 3(3) BetrSichV and TRBS 1200 for checking work equipment and plants requiring monitoring.
