The guideline provides potential users with assistance for structuring and operation of RFID applications in the environment of and relative to industrial trucks. Therefore, the guideline describes the requirements for RFID components, industrial trucks and interfaces, and defines the necessary conditions for using RFID components on industrial trucks to read-out and write on passive UHF transponders attached to load carriers and storage compartments. To provide the user with a planning reliability for a specific application scenario, the guideline also describes test procedures.
