This data can be utilised for further process and business improvements.The series of standards VDI/VDE 3715 presents a reporting method that makes it possible to identify this data and record its value as objectively as possible. The standard presents the basic methodology: For the valuation of data, it is assumed that the data sets are divided into application fields. Depending on these application fields, the quality criteria of this data are defined. This is necessary to measure how suitable the data is for a specific application field. The standard contains all definitions of terms relevant to the series of standards.
