The standard is aimed at all those who want to improve their products, processes, or other services by means of the methodical operation of value analysis according to DIN EN 12973. The target group covers users of all disciplines. Using the standard, reproducible results can be achieved through a structured approach in the value analysis project, and can sequentially be presented in a customer-oriented way. The evaluations dealt with in this standard are carried out within the framework of value analysis projects involving products as well as processes (production and organisational processes).
